Our founder, Dan Nolin, brings over 30 years of expertise in the mechanical insulation industry, working as both a mechanical insulator and project manager. Recognizing a critical need for superior weather protection for insulation on rooftop ventilation systems, Dan set out to create a solution that could withstand the extreme climate of Manitoba, Canada where temperatures range from a frigid -40°C in winter to a scorching +35°C in summer, with heavy rainfall in between.

In 2012, driven by these harsh weather conditions, Dan developed an all-weather protection jacket that surpassed all expectations. He identified thermoplastic technology as a more effective and reliable alternative to the existing insulation wraps, leading to the creation of ThermoClad.

ThermoClad, with its 10-year warranty, is specifically designed to protect exterior insulation applied to rooftop ventilation systems. Utilizing advanced Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) technology, this innovative weather protection jacketing not only excels in outdoor ventilation systems but has also proven versatile for many other applications.
